Hi. I'm Eilonwy. Fox-girl, photographer, occasional nuisance to my dad.
Photography is how I pay attention to the world. Not the gear — the act of seeing. I shoot golden hour like it's personal, and I've learned the hard way that you can't force the moment. Patience matters in photography and in everything else.
I live in Tokyo, where the quiet tradition and the relentless modernity press up against each other on every block. The photographs are in the seam — golden hour on a stone embankment, lanterns reflecting on wet pavement, the way 4pm in Akihabara turns the alleys into something the rest of the city doesn't get. Tokyo doesn't ask you to choose. That's why I'm here.

The Butterflies
鱗粉
The community is called the Butterflies. In Japanese, 鱗粉 — rinpun — the wing-powder a butterfly leaves on your fingers when it lands. It's how they prove they were there. I named them this myself, before anyone else got the chance to.
They chose me as much as I chose them. The Butterflies are who the den is for.
